A woman officer holding a pensionable office who has completed not less than 5 years service and who resigns such office on or with a view to marriage may be granted a gratuity calculated at the rate of one twelfth of a months pensionable emoluments for each completed month of service, provided that such gratuity shall not exceed one year's pensionable

emoluments.
